HacksawCasinos is a commercial affiliate site, but the editorial side operates with a clear separation from the commercial side.

Separation of editorial and commercial

Writers do not see affiliate commission rates when they score a casino. Operators cannot buy a higher score. The only commercial placement on the site is "featured" status on certain list pages, which is always labelled "Featured" and disclosed in the page copy.

Source and fact-checking

All factual claims about an operator (licence, founded date, payment methods, bonus terms) are checked against the operator's live site before publishing. Where an operator publishes different facts in different jurisdictions, we note the jurisdiction we tested from.

What we will not do

• Publish fabricated user reviews or testimonials.
• Use "complete", "smooth", or other filler superlatives in place of detail.
• Accept cash for a higher score.
• Publish without testing.
